Friends of Settle Orchestra

Why be a Friend?

Joining the Friends of Settle Orchestra is a great way to get closer to the Orchestra, meet other supporters and get involved in a whole range of activities. Your support, help and encouragement will also help to safeguard the future of the Orchestra and enable us to continue our aim of bringing live music of a high standard to audiences in the Settle, Skipton and Clitheroe areas.

Benefits of being a Friend

As a Friend of Settle Orchestra you will receive:

  • Details of our annual programme
  • Free concert programmes

We also organize a number of social events throughout the year and these provide an opportunity for our Friends to socialize with Orchestra members and become involved in fundraising.

These events have included:

  • A Christmas mulled wine and mince pies evening, with music provided by Orchestra members,
  • Our annual dinner and music quiz,
  • A May garden party with music and cream teas
  • 'Open rehearsals' especially for Friends.

Friends receive invitations to these and other fundraising activities.

If you would like to be more involved, you might like to consider becoming a Patron of the Orchestra. In addition to the benefits listed above, Patrons receive:
