  • Michael Howell: world premiere of The Star Song - a Carol for the King, words by Robert Herrick, for chorus and orchestra
  • Georg Philipp Telemann: Cantata, 'Nun komm der Heiden Heiland', for choir, strings and trumpets
  • Ralph Vaughan Williams: Fantasia on Christmas Carols, for baritone, chorus and orchestra (baritone soloist, David Rees-Jones)
  • Sergei Prokofiev: 'Troika' from the symphonic suite to Lieutenant Kijé, op.60
