Following the success of last term’s event the orchestra are holding another Open Rehearsal on Saturday 18th May in St John’s Church Hall, Settle. The rehearsal begins at 1.30pm, there will be a break for tea, cake and a chance to chat to orchestra members at approx 2.30pm, followed by a play-through at 3.00-3.45pm.
As before, this is a very relaxed afternoon – you can come and go as you please, or stay all afternoon. Ideal for introducing children to orchestral playing, or for those who enjoy music in a less formal setting than a concert.
